About Us
The Gift Kids Foundation is a child based non governmental or charity organization founded in 2004. It is in real sense a non-for-profit entity that seeks to offer support to orphaned, needy and vulnerable children and youth in Uganda especially in areas of education, health, and also emotional support. We do things like provision of school fees, school requirements, provide bedding materials like mattresses, mosquito nets, blankets, etc. We also provide clothes, shoes and other basic needs to these children to ensure that they feel loved and cared for. We go ahead to provide counseling and guidance through God's word to these kids and youth to make them good at decisions and choices they make for life.
We trigger capacity identification, self esteem and talent through inspiring these young ones to become the best they can ever be. We are believing that little by little we can bring great and greater change in these children's lives. We think that our impact on them can also let them impact others in future in a positive way. We are all in this together – and we are glad you are visiting our site. This is our on-line meeting place, where we organize our activities, share ideas, solicit for funding and publicize our mission.
The Team
The organization is having a team of devoted on-site and online staff who include volunteers, interns and social workers.
And the organization's Director and Founder is Mr. Felix Gift Lwanga who is a visionary, passionate and loving person that has experienced the life of poverty and need and has worked with children and youth for a very long time. It is for these same reasons that he decided to establish this organization together with his wife Rebecca.
The organization embraces team spirit and professionalism and it also welcomes volunteers and interns from all over the world to come and join us.
